या अंबड शहरात धार्मिक वारसा चांगला आहे. इथे अच्युतस्वामींचं मंदिर आहे. या मंदिरातही विजेच्या दिव्यांचा उपयोग केला जात नाही. याठिकाणी फक्त तेलवातच तेवत असते.यामंदिरात आधुनिक युगातही विजेचा वापर केला जात नाही. स्थानिक लोकांनी वीज वापराचा प्रयत्न केला पण विजेचा दिवा टीकेचं ना ! म्हणूनच फक्त तेलवात करून दिवा बत्ती अखंड दिवा या मंदिरात तेवत असते.
अंबड निसर्गाने नटलेले शहर आहे. मोठे मंदिर म्हणून जे शिव मंदिर आहे. त्याबाबत बरीच मोठी आख्यायिका आहे. या मंदिरात जे शिवलिंग आहे. ते दुभंगलेले आहे. त्यात रक्तश्राव झालेला असल्याच्या खुणा आहे.हे मंदिर डोंगराच्या मध्यावर आहे. इथुन वर सुमारे अर्धा किलोमीटर उंच डोंगर आहे. या डोंगरावर सुमारे अर्धा किलोमीटरचे प्रशस्त पठार आहे.हा डोंगर चढायला अतिशय सोपा आहे. वर प्रशस्त मोठी जागा आहे. यावरून दोन्ही बाजूला सुंदर निसर्ग पाहायला मिळतो. एकीकडे संपूर्ण अंबड शहर तर दुसरी कडे नजर जाते तेथ पर्यंत सुंदर शेत या दिवसात हिरवळीने नटलेली दिसतात.
